Another daredevil disc, this time with colorless disc material. Well, sort off – it looks like a kind of milky glass. I did put an orange disc under this one so you can see the translucent effect. It is a standard 175 g and 27 cm disc and perfect for a game of ultimate.
The daredevil logo is included on the print together with some fast and speedy looking symbols.
If you like the color – you can buy them at the discstore.
An wonderful and simple design from my favourite disc designer shop. If you are tired of boxes, this disc is for your.
Quote from their web page: „Guaranteed no straight lines, or your money back.“ 🙂 Unfortunately out of stock as almost all of their disc. I think it was produced in 2001.
Mayan Design by Jason Husveth – ultimate frisbee disc
(7 votes, average: 3,29 out of 5) Loading...I do not own this disc, but it would look beautiful on my (soon to ready) wall of discs.
Jason, the designer has chosen a Mayan motif. He did research on Mayan glyphs and their underlying meaning. in the center of the disc you can see graphics showing the Mayan ball game which was an important cultural ritual of the Mayan civilization. For information – see his page, link below.
All the inspiration he got from his research ended in this hand drawn artwork. It would be a pity to throw this disc.
This disc set is limited to 100 discs (50 black – on white disc, 25 metallic blue on white disc, 25 metallic blue on yellow disc)
(4 votes, average: 4,75 out of 5) Loading... This is the second in a series of collectible ultimate discs with tessellation designs (made famous by M.C. Escher™ in the mid-20th century). The surfaces of the discs are tiled with repeating geometric shapes. This disc has stylized butterflies which are interlocked and fluttering. Because this disc is printed with two different metallic foils, it gives nice effects in the sun.
This disc was made by Internetdiscshop and is sold out for years. I owned this disc some years ago but gave it away.
(4 votes, average: 4,75 out of 5) Loading...I found this picture of a disc, I have bought from discshoppe.com ( theinternetdiscshop.com, some years ago (2003 or 2004). It’s a nice 3 color design on a white discraft ultrastar disc. Unfortunately, I can not remember the name of the disc, could be Skull and bones or something similar. If you have an idea or know the name of this designer ultimate disc – please drop me a line.
This cute disc was designed by Joan Delehanty and exists in 2 versions. The one in red and black as you can see here and in pink and blue – see below. My little son loved this disc when he was younger, unfortunately he lost his first „Frisbee“. The people from Internet Disc Shop produced this set of original disc, but they are no longer available. Maybe sometime in the future you will get a chance to buy one.
